RCV Marblehead - Pre Launch Webinar

My name is Steven and I'm a long time resident of Marblehead. I've been concerned with declining civic engagement in our community, especially among younger residents and I think using Ranked Choice Voting would be a positive change we could make to increase voter engagement, and expand the number of residents running for office.

I'm hosting an online gathering of Marblehead residents to talk about bringing RCV to our municipal elections. I hope you'll join, share your thoughts and ask questions. I'll be joined by a member of Voter Choice MA who can talk about what it would take to pass RCV in Marblehead. You are welcome regardless of your feelings about RCV.

Agenda:

• Intros of folks on the call (5 min)
• Quick review about how Ranked Choice Voting works (5 min)
• RCV benefits for Marblehead (5 min)
• How to bring RCV to Marblehead elections -- pathways for making the change. (10 min)
• Thoughts and Q&A (15 min)
• What each of us can do and next steps (5 min)
